Already the film has such eminent actors on board – and now of late the production team has signed on Siddharth.

Thrilled over this opportunity, the ‘Rang De Basanti’ and ‘Striker’ famed actor shared the news on his micro-blogging site thus, “It's official. I'm very happy to be part of the very talented Deepa Mehta's epic international film salman rushdie's "Midnights Children".”

'Midnight's Children' is reportedly an adaptation of the Booker Prize winning novel by Salman Rushdie. The film is expected to release next year.
